The occurrence of natural disasters can always affect the confidence and stability of a society as residents will not feel secured after the hazard. Therefore, it is necessary for the society to promote community cohesion, national security and emergency response. The higher level social stability is, the less mental damages found in the society. Therefore, high level of preparation can reduce the impacts on society brought by flooding.
