The rising frequency can bring several serious impacts to the nature, for example, the soil, plants and drainage basin system. To be more precise, due to the loss of amount of water, the water cycle in a region will change which can lead to negative impacts happening on the society. Therefore, the society has to prioritize and provide supports to take actions on flood management. The connections between the nature and society is strong and needs to be paid attention to.

- Social Damages

In other words, instead of calling it social damages, it is more suitable to be called social awareness or future preparation. The occurrence of natural disasters can always affect the confidence and stability of a society as residents will not feel secured after the hazard. Therefore, it is necessary for the society to promote community cohesion, national security and emergency response. The higher level social stability is, the less mental damages found in the society. Therefore, high level of preparation can reduce the impacts on society brought by flooding.
